Congratulations to Omar Robert Hamilton, who’s been awarded the Society of Authors 2018 Betty Trask Prize for The City Always Wins!

The £10,000 prize winner is voted for by fellow writers annually with the prize going to a debut novelist under the age of 35. Judge and author of the novel Grow Up, Ben Brooks, says of The City Always Wins:
